Hey, all, I have no idea how I could go so long without remembering to put song here. Its simple—the chords are only C, F, G, and Am—and yet the product is so powerful. For guitarists, I would recommend playing the F chord as an Fmaj7(sus2), which is built from low to high: x33010. Hear the instrumentation of the song: guitars, strings, a piano, and male and female vocals. To be honest, Im not entirely how sure how a drum set could tastefully add to the song, but if it works it works. Otherwise, I think that shakers could be our main mode of percussion for this song. The song becomes especially feasible with the addition of our new female singer, and Im confident that it will yield a great sound from all of us. If you havent seen the movie from which the song comes, Once, I would highly recommend it. Its an independent film (and it shows) about two musicians who meet in Dublin. If you ever have the chance, see the currently running broadway production of the show as well, as a more real musical has never been produced.
