Hey all! I just kinda wanted to fill you guys in about the Tazza: The Hidden Card screening we were going to do last month. Theres good news and bad news about it. Bad news: the company who contacted me (back in Oct) about hosting the screening through demographicsEnt said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for everything to be processed for the screening at the Alamo Draft House. After the first two weeks I didnt hear anything, so I emailed my point of contact letting her know that there were people wanting to know about the screening and if I could get more information about when we could host it. She replied telling me that they were still waiting for confirmation date from the Draft House for the OK to start planning out the premier. Another two weeks went by and I emailed again, but this time got no response. I sent another email the following week, and again no response. SO, I went ahead and threw in the towel giving up on this project. For a legit business whos services are solely to provide small communities access to foreign films to people who dont have access to go see these movies, simply because theyre movies that are only available to the countries in which they were produced, their communication was very poor and in my honest opinion very unprofessional. With out any regrets, I will not be working with them in the future. As for getting everyones hopes up about premiering this particular movie to all of you who wanted to see it and were willing to take time out of your schedules to do so, I sincerely apologize (especially to those who are T.O.P stans and/if he is your ultimate bias) and for having to cancel this screening of Tazza: The Hidden Card. I hope I can make up for it with the good news Im about to give to you. The Good news: Im very excited and very humbled to tell you all that demographicsEnt. will be working with Mandoo Entertainment to bring you a very special event that Im sure every EXO fan in our community will appreciate. We will be promoting a special screening, taking place on December 12th, 2014 at Highland Galaxy 10 movie theater in Austin (Next to Chosun Galbi), of the Korean movie Cart (카트) directed by Boo Ji-Young, starring Yum Jung-Ah and Do Kyung-soo (D.O) of EXO/EXO-K. Tickets for this event will be available soon!! Well provide you all with a solid event link as well as information on where to purchase your tickets via online or by hard copy, very soon!!
