Hey all, I spend most of my hikes with a pup, and they can be a lot of fun out on the trail. That being said, some hikes(night hikes, alpine scrambles) arent always appropriate for our four legged friends. Sometimes a pack can develop as well, which can be hurtful to some sensitive environments. My only negative encounters with predators on the island came about after they tracked the dogs, so sometimes it isnt always the safest option either! I thought that adding a *Dog Friendly* tag to your hike invite might be helpful, to avoid disappointment and answering the same questions over and over. I feel the overall group is dog friendly, but not all of our activities are! Just an idea, hope everyone is having a great holiday season :)
