Hey, all! Sorry been away. Been really busy with work, so havent been able to post like usual. Today is Worship Wednesday. I am thankful as always for everyone who sows into my life, but want to give two very specific shout outs to two who have just within the last day have sown into me: to Reta Rejoice Wilson, love your posts as always, and to my uncle and big Bro, Michael Gladney, who said something to me that resonated so strongly that the words that follow are a direct result. So, to steal some of your thunder, GOD is saying, Take Me out of the Bible and use Me in your lives right now! So with that being said: Take Me Out The Bible... You have read that it was I who created the heavens and the earth, Who created everything that is on it, then created man. And when man fell away, through a virgin birth, Redemption was given, which was my plan. You have read of My many miracles performed among men; From slaying the firstborn of Egypt, to deliverance through the Red Sea. I gave a man almost a century old the ability to conceive again, To birth a nation that would be holy to me. But as My life did not end when I hung upon a cross, Nor when John wrote Revelations last Amen. I still yet seek to save all who are lost, And have my name preached and praised among men. So do not simply read of My works as just great stories, For I am able and ready to perform for you even now. Great men die all the time, and I still live in all Glory, So trust me, even if the way you do not know how. Take me out the pages of the Bible, and use me in your life. Be it a financial miracle, or healing for your body and soul. I am here to deliver you, whatever pain or strife, And if you are sick, I am able to make you whole. Do not recite my words, as if memorizing a book, But believe them, digest them, as they are yet alive, For some, you are the only Bible at which they look, And it may be that their only light is your life. If nothing was too hard for me so many centuries ago, What has changed that I cannot now perform? I am yet the Beginning and the End, and all I know, And I still bring peace in the midst of any storm. If you say you have faith, then let it not just be in words, Let Me be the GOD in your storms and sunshine. I am on the throne, and your prayers will be heard, Because I am still faithful, and will never forsake a child of Mine.
