Hey all! Youve had adjudication workshops, youve had debating workshops, youve had forums and tournaments and socials. Today however, Malaysian Institute for Debate and Public Speaking (MIDP) is proud to announce its first ever tabbing workshop! In line with our goals of expanding the community and making the process of running tournaments one that is accessible to all, MIDP is running a tabbing workshop to provide the skill of tabbing to a wider range of people that will in turn, be able to contribute to the betterment of the Malaysian debating community. The workshop will cover tabbing for Asians, Australs and BP debating and will be facilitated by the Thevesh Theva and myself. Date: 8 - 9 December Location: Taylors University, Lakeside Campus Rego fee: ABSOLUTELY FREE! In addition to being a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of the best (and most OCD) tabbers in the Malaysian debating community, this workshop offers participants the unique chance to work and learn on the ground with Thevesh as he tabs the SCARS Tournament, meaning that they get invaluable practical experience. All of this will enable participants to learn extremely quickly and leave the workshop ready to tab their first tournament! We would love to see every institution sending at least one individual to learn this noble art so that tabbing is no longer centered around a few individuals only.
