Hey all yall aspiring indie filmmakers, you gotta study the Roger Corman school of filmmaking if you havent already. Corman is pretty much the only guy in the history of cinema who can call himself truly independent. Hes made over 385 films, financed almost all them himself, and almost never lost money on single one. He also launched the careers of all the New Hollywood filmmaker, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, Robert Deniro, Jack Nihcolson, Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper to name a few. And on top of all that, Corman was making monster movies and Sci-Fi adventures long before Jaws and Star Wars hit the big screen. The formula for making Blockbusters, was stolen directly from Corman.
