Hey church, I had something kinda neat happen at our church softball game tonight. In church league, the home team always prays before the game and the visitor team prays after the game. Anyways, I was praying at the start of our game and when I finished, the ump motioned for me to go talk to him. I walked over to him and he asked me why nobody ever prays for the umps. Honestly, I kinda took it jokingly. I put my hand on his shoulder and was thinking about praying something along the lines of him calling a fair game, etc. I realized though that he was being serious. I left my hand on his shoulder and prayed with him. I asked him after I was done if he went to church anywhere and he said no. He told me that him and his wife havent lived here very long, that they moved here from San Antonio or work. I told him where our church was located, times of service, and invited them to go. Please pray that they do. I actually dont remember his name. I wrote a friend of mine and the city tonight and asked if he could get me his info, and that if he couldnt, would he please give him mine. Anyways, please lift his family up and lets sit back and watch what God does. Thanks! Chris
