Hey everybody! Weve officially hit Baton Rouge and are traveling to New Orleans this evening! We just had an awesome time getting to know one of Louisianas top ultra runners, Walker Higgins, whose wife also owns an awesome cafe! Walker offered us some brew as we went through his hometown. He and Landon met almost exactly a year ago during a half marathon race in Alabama. Walker also brought his beautiful baby girl Mia to sign Life Elevated. Walker is going to be killing a 100 mile race this December 6-7th and is aiming to do it in under 24 hours!! The race is Cajun Coyote in chicot state park. Be sure to wish Walker some words of encouragement! And of anyone passes through Baton Rouge, be sure you try his wifes amazing local coffee and cake balls!! (Which she made famous in Louisiana WAY before Starbucks ;)) They are Brew Ha-Ha! You can also check them out on Facebook. So good to meet Walker and Mia!
