Hey, everybody! Your friendly KPM here, with this weeks edition* - TopicsExpress

Hey, everybody! Your friendly KPM here, with this weeks edition* of “Dear Liam!”** Ive got a few questions in the ole mailbag° this week*, so lets get to it! “Dear Liam: Hey, whats going on with the Althing? Is voting over? How can I vote?” - Georgio McKeeverson, Barony of Falling Fire Well, Georgio, thats a good question, if in several parts. Ill try to answer them all concisely. Distributed voting is still happening for the six (6) Questions before the citizenry. You can find a link to the text of the Questions, as well as a link to the ballot itself, in the pinned post on the Kingdom Facebook group (if youre on a computer, scroll up. Youll see it.) Local Chancellors will accept votes until 11:59pm on Sunday, 29 June 2014. Chancellors will, if the gods be merciful, transmit the vote totals from each question (xxY-xxN-xxA) to me via Facebook PM or by email to darryljwillis@gmail by 11:59pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2014. Ill announce the results soon after. “Dear Liam: Whats the deal with the upcoming elections? Whos declared so far? Do I still have time to declare? - Baka Yojimbo, Shire of Crest Haven Baka, Im glad you asked! Kelevra has declared his intent to stand for the office of King. Evy and Newlok are each standing for Regent, and Ishmael and Dank have both declared their intent to win the office of Champion by Trial of Arms. If anyone else would like to stand for election, they need to inform me by 11:59pm on Tuesday, 2 July 2014. They also need to attend Crown Quals, hosted by Windtree Keep on Saturday, 2 August 2014, and successfully complete their corpora-mandated requirements. “Hey, I see that in the Corpora, Kingdom Officers and Local Chancellors need to take a Corpora Test. Where can I find one of these, and can I take one for the heck of it? Will it count if I need it for office?” - Franklin Flugelhorn, Shire of Ravensmoor So, Franklin, you think you can pass the [ominous music] Kingdom Corpora Test? [/ominous music] The truth is, you probably can. Its open-book, and its designed to get you to read the corpora front to back, skimming to certain important points. If you already think you know the corpora, you could probably pass it without the open book. In that vein, Ill be distributing the test to all. You can download it on demand from the Files section of the Kingdoms Facebook group. If you want to take it, email your answers to NeverwinterCorporaTest@gmail, and Ill grade it. A score of 75% is considered passing, but seriously, folks. Its open-book. Go for that A+. Ill keep a list of all people who have passed the Corpora Test on file. If you pass it online, and are standing for Kingdom Office, youll still need to take it again at Quals, but for reals. Its open-book. Well, thats all for this weeks edition* of “Dear Liam.”** Come back next week°°, when well discuss the proper way to poison a course at feast!*° Bye! - Liam Prime Minister, Neverwinter *: Not a weekly occurrence. **: Not an actual column. °: No such mailbag, ole or otherwise, exists. °°: Dont. *°: No, we wont. Seriously, dont look for this column next week.
