Hey everyone! After my Water for Elephants book review, Im - TopicsExpress

Hey everyone! After my Water for Elephants book review, Im obviously going to write about the movie. The movie inspired to Water for Elephants was made by Francis Lawrence a few years after the book came out and its just amazing. I have to say that I preferred the movie version to the book. I think that the story of Water for Elephants, where scenographic circus performances are involved can be more easily represented though a film. In fact, the descriptions of the circus in the book were complex and didnt always convey a clear idea of what was going on. Instead in the movie the circus shows are colorful and impressive; the stuntmen (or even Reese Witherspoon whom I think actually acted in the scenes herself!) are very talented and give great performances. In addition, the actors are just perfect for their roles. Robert Pattinson embodies the character of Jacob Jankowsky perfectly, both as a vet student and a circus assistant; Reese Witherspoon is fascinating and just has the perfect look to her circus star character. They also make a great couple and fill the movie with beautiful romance. Overall, this is a great film and I suggest you watch it! A. :)
