Scott Amendola, long time drummer of rock-jazz jazz-rock group Nels Cline Singers(who I love to watch all the way back since being 15) and Charlie Hunter, is releasing an album of orchestral music performed by the East Bay Symphony in Nor Cal with himself, Nels Cline on guitar and Trevor Dunn(also of Nels Cline Singers and John Zorn) on bass. He posted this video of a kickstart type of thing to produce the recording of it. This is something that needs to exist! Grateful for randomly having a Facebook page that reaches a large amount of people so someone out there who loves compositional music and free jazz can know about this, and for those young or old who havent taken the plunge into this type of music indeed should for it has been a helpful thing to me.
