My corporation, Idea Analyst and Associates Inc. is seeking one more DOCUMENTARY film client to take on as a client to assist with the following: 1. Set up of fiscal sponsorship (if you do not know what that is yet, you will IF you choose to pursue grant funding, I set it up with my contacts (assist with application, advocate for your film) WHEN you are accepted as a client, and I have well known film industry fiscal sponsorship with whom I have worked with many times in the past. 2. Assist with identifying funding sources for the project. Many general mostly doc funding sources (grants) have been identified for this year, some other specific ones tailored to each project will apply given the various social causes which may be discussed in various films. 3. Assist with packaging grants: calling with inquiries/submitting letters of inquiry/grant application/proposal development tailored by source. 4. We also assist with crowdfunding. In facebook alone between my pages, I have an estimated 20,000 people to market to. I have assisted with setting up and running a crowdfunding campaign for a film, where we set a modest goal of $10,000 just to grow a public following and to raise funds which on the filmmakers end attracted more funds, and we raised $15,000 in 60 days. This may be an option for you with my company IF: 1. This is not your first film (ideally) OR you have an experienced director/producer on your project. 2. You have a solid treatment developed, and know where you are going with your project (have a plan for the subject matter and how you will film, okay if still in development or pre-production/actually that is the ideal time to start submitting applications.) 3. Documentarys are preferred right now given the deadlines for some docs coming up in Jan/Feb. 4. Social cause type project addressing/shining the light on the problem and advocating for a solution. 5. Capacity to afford to hire my company to do the work. Retainer applies, Hourly fee for each hour worked for grant submissions, set up of fiscal sponsor, identification of sources.
