Hey everyone! Here we are 2 weeks later after the initial influenza A diagnosis. Feels like about 6 months but we are hanging in there. Yesterday was a great day. We didnt have any negative news and got to spend some time alone with George while he wasnt so sedated. We got to help bathe him. Susan even got to wash his hair and massage his scalp. We could tell he was loving it just by the expression on his face and his eyes finally relaxing. Its is truly an honor to call him our son. Even though he cant speak all the nursing staff love his sense of humor and just how hard he even tries to help them when he needs moved in bed. He raised his head, almost sat up in bed, and tried to roll over. The Holy Spirit is definitely filling him daily with strength and at the same time peace. Keep you posted and thank you for all the continuous prayers, comments, stories of encouragement, and donations both financial and spiritual blessings.
