Hey everyone, I am here at Hershey Cancer institute. I was admitted today. I am currently undergoing chemo therapy bags, to suppress my immune system to prepare me for my bone marrow stem cell transplant. My donor is a male from Texas, how exciting! This procedure is giving me a whole new DNA pretty much. It is like having a new second birthday. Everything my donor has, I will eventually develop in a year, as part of my transplant. I will develop his allergies, different hair color and texture, skin tone etc... Pretty fascinating huh? Anyhow, It is a seven day countdown procedure. Days 7 to 3 are chemo to suppress my immune system Fludarabine, days 7 to 4, Busulfan chemo, days 3 is Tacro meds, and day 0, October 2 is the day of transplant. Today, I have been admitted to start the suppress immune system process. Sorry for any confusion. Anyhow, I will begin posting pictures and videos tomorrow so everyone may see what it is like first hand on this journey. It is a bumpy road and not really fun. I will have some up days and there will be some days I am not really too well. Ultimately, God is always there. And ultimately, I will come out surviving because God says so. We will see that he is a healer and that the Devil is in fact a liar. P.s I am a bit drained today. But I still love you all. I logged on here and literally had 500+ notifications, not including messages, Twitter, Instagram, phone messages etc... I am trying my best. You are all the best supporters I can ever dream of. I actually sit here in happy tears looking ay all your posts. I love you all. Thank You
