Hey everyone, I am interested in creating a meetup for everyone who does not fall under the white/cisgender/male identifying category. Trans, POC, Womyn, and everyone who fits outside of the aforementioned category is welcome to come. A cool, accessible place with a mellow atmosphere (that serves tea for us sober folks) would be ideal, but I am open to suggestions. Most importantly I am interested in creating a space that is welcome for those who might otherwise not say too much, and my goal is to make this a collaborative platform in which everyone feels safe. There are a lot of integral parts of Veganism that are overlooked or dismissed in mainstream spaces, and from reading previous comments, I think a lot of us share a common goal (and understand the many intersectional issues that require resolution to move the Vegan movement forward). Thoughts?
