Hey everyone, I am posting a list of all the wildlife - TopicsExpress

Hey everyone, I am posting a list of all the wildlife rehabilitators that are local to CT. very important as I have been asked by so many people what to do in many cases this year already. Please know that I will help anyway that I can but I am not a licensed rehabilitator YET. The best thing to do before you touch an animal is evaluate the immediate danger of the situation. so important!!!!! Not all babies are abandoned despite what they appear. If you spot a baby bird on the ground that does not have flight feathers try an access and if need be, get it upp into the nearest tree even if its in a shoebox or dish. it is a myth that the momma will abandon it if they smell a human...NOT TRUE. if you need me, I will answer anything I can but keep this list handy. and never touch a baby animal without talking to someone as rabies is a concern and it is in animal saliva and fluids. ct.gov/deep/cwp/view.asp?a=2723&q=326228&depNav_GID=1655
