Hey everyone! I cant even begin to tell anyone who didnt make our reunion weekend just what you missed. We had a ball and I really could not have imagined it going any better! Friday night was great but I think Saturday night took the cake! The added bonus was that so many of us had hotel rooms at the Doubletree and took the party into the wee hours of the morning. Sunday morning even offered an opportunity for those checking out of the hotel to brunch with a few that couldnt make it to the official festivities. WE HAD A BLAST! The best reunion yet!!! Thanks to everyone who participated in the reunion and thanks also for your participation in all of the fundraisers leading up to the reunion. It REALLY made a difference. This reunion was expensive but well, well worth it!!! Several expressed interest in participating in the planning of the next reunion. Thank you so much for your interest and you will DEFINITELY be called upon! :) Thank you to this years reunion committee: Ron Elliott, Roni Shields-Simons and Anil Dham! Thank you so much for coming together as a team and knocking this baby out the park. It took a lot from each of us and everyone gave their all in making sure that our class had a memorable reunion. Thank you guys so much. Special thanks to Ron Elliott for securing our bank account for all of our financial needs during the reunion (free of charge) and for securing the hotel for our Saturday night event. You really, really came for through for this reunion and wed be NOWHERE without you and all of your diplomacy!! Finally, I just want to give a tally of our reunion account to ALL so that everyone knows where we stand. After our 2004 reunion, we had $121.74 left. After our 2009 reunion, we had $127.09 left. After this reunion, we have $292 left!!! It may not sound like much but most reunions start (and stay) at zero until shortly before the big event. This is great news!!! This money is deposited in an HEW-FCU account in my name. I opened the account this evening. I deposited $297 but it was $5 to open the account. So there you have it, the closing of business for the 2014 reunion...........interested in helping in 2019? Holla at me! Email, hphs94@hotmail.
