Hey everyone, I have a question for all other heart mommies out there. I was recently researching possible causes for HLHS (Im 27 weeks pregnant and my daughter was diagnosed at 20 weeks). I came across some articles linking Macrobid (the antibiotic that is commonly prescribed to expecting mothers who have UTIs) to birth defects such as HLHS. The articles didnt seem that conclusive to me, and I wasnt sure if there was a strong correlation. Obviously I cant undo taking this medication, and knowing doesnt really help me or my daughter now. But I was wondering if any other heart moms took Macrobid or something similar during their pregnancy with their heart warrior? Thanks
