Hey everyone, I hope the day is treating you well! I wanted to take a moment and share with you just how special of a time it is for All-Star Little Leaguers from Chico! Currently, the 11-12yr old Chico Softball team is undefeated (4-0) in West Regional play in San Bernardino. The ladies will play tonight at 5:00pm against Montana in the semi-finals. Chico needs 2 wins to lock down a trip to the Little League Softball World Series. Also, the Chico Juniors 13-14yr old All-Stars have secured a spot in the West Regionals in Tuscon! The team needs to be there early next week, and any support you can provide would be helpful. Ill give you details of how to help tonight in sports! These girls were so excited when I spoke with them earlier today and its truly remarkable to have two all-star softball teams from Chico to advance this far! And, it gets better, the Chico Eastside 9-10yr old baseball team is headed to the state tournament for the second year in a row. Ill catch up with the boys tonight as they get ready to head to Tuolumne and begin play on 7/26. Look for that story to head your way tomorrow. What a time for Chico All-Stars and you cant help but feel proud to live in and around our area. Lets go Chico!!
