Hey everyone, I wanted to share the terrain system that my brother and I created. This project developed out of a desire to get some really good looking terrain on the table in a simple, cost-effective way. We generally spend all of our time working on our minis and can never find the time or patience to make some really nice terrain. Depending on the game, you can pretty easily include a sort of discovery mechanic with the hexagons by laying down hexes as the party explores. While it is certainly not the end-all, be-all of terrain, I think it would make an excellent addition to the hobby. We have plans to expand it in the future to include other themes (sci-fi, arctic, coastal). In the photos I saw a picture of someone in this group who created a grid of hexes on larger hexes. It gave me a lot of ideas. If you had a stencil that you could transfer over the pattern it would be awesome!
