Hey everyone! I wanted to share this from the Leland Moms Group from the Loving Lathyn Fund site: Small miracles are BIG blessings, people! Stephanie just found out that their surgeon for Lathyns biopsy has been changed, to Dr. E (we cant remember his whole name). Dr. E is the head of the department, and instead of doing the robotic surgery, he is going to do it manually, which shouldnt affect the risk. Heres the blessing - Dr. E is believer of Christ and the power therein. He told Dusty & Stephanie that God guides my hands and directs my paths and the outcome of that is up to God. I have to accept that, and you do too. Stunned. This is an incredible comfort and encouragement to the family, who up until this point, were expecting more sidewards glances when they brought up God. He also said, that when he looks at the scans, everything in him says its a cancerous tumor. To the point, its debatable to whether to even bother with a biopsy or just start treatment. But he said that hes a big believer in, Giving the devil a name, so that we know what to pray against. Hallelujah to that. Biopsy is at 1:20.
