Hey everyone. Im here with an important cause for #GivingTuesday. As you know, millions of Syrians have been displaced by the civil war over the past 4 years. In the year 2014, weve got children freezing to death in refugee camps in the Middle East. Our hearts should not rest while thats the case, just as it is outrageous that there are homeless individuals sleeping in the cold in places like my hometown Chicago. In Syria, there is a government that is intent on letting its people suffer. And the NGOs and relevant UN agencies have warned us of how underfunded they are; they wont be able reach many of the Syrian children this winter. Theres something very simple, very basic that you and I can do, right at this moment. For 6 more hours, you can click on the link below and donate to the Shave a Mustache, Keep a Syrian Warm / #Staches4Syria campaign. Donations can start at $10— thats half of the cost of a winter package that will go directly to a Syrian child. These packages will be distributed by Karam Foundation to Syrian children inside Syria to help them survive the harsh winter. Each $20 winter package will contain: 1 winter coat, 1 blanket, 1 hat, 1 scarf, and a pair of gloves for a Syrian child. Please take a few minutes and consider donating to this worthy cause.
