Hey everyone, Its Dan. I think that its probably time to tell you all what is going on. Until Midnight is officially broken up. For many reasons such as time, availability, a difference in musical tastes among members, but mostly because most of Until Midnights members from our classic era are in different parts of their lives now. School, family, career etc. This break up has been a long time coming and has been happening slowly for quite awhile. As the members of our classic Until Midnight era have left, I have tried to replace them and continue on with the Until Midnight project. But now it just doesnt seem like the right thing to do. Its one thing to lose a bass player, a drummer, a guitarist, or a singer... by themselves these problems can be overcome, but overtime when you add them all up together it really changes the sound and personality of the band. I would like to put the Until Midnight name to rest and just be able to look back and remember it when we were at our high point. Thank you Brett, Kevin, and Jax. This was an amazing life changing experience that I shared with you all. I never thought that music I was involved in could ever get as far as it did. I would also like to thank the late era members/additions to the band who helped us continue the project as long as we could. I would also like to thank anyone who helped support us. Anyone who came to shows, shared our music with their friends, or helped us sell tickets. Thank you. I would like to give an extra big thank you to the fans like Erin Hanlon, Sarah Bibb, and Chris Tucker who helped take pictures, helped us with concept art, T-shirt design, promotional videos, conducted interviews, and everything else. I know there are names that Im missing and I apologize for that. Thank you also to the other bands that we played with, and the bands that let us latch onto them at shows (sharing fans was amazingly helpful). I still have a limited quantity of our Shipwreck t-shirts if anyone is interested. I could also probably get around to making some CDs for anyone who never actually got our music, but almost everything is online at our reverbnation and our youtube. Hang onto our facebook page because I will still announce future Until Midnight related material and events. For instance, Brett might occasionally do an acoustic open mic show by himself. If Jax does music in the future we will post about it here. Im currently working on a new project with some of Until Midnights later era members. Some of our material will be what would have been Until Midnights 2nd chapter of music. So if you liked Until Midnight youll probably enjoy some of the stuff that Im doing in that project as well. A few months ago I also joined Kelsons other band M.I.X., so Ill promote our events on here. Again, thank you thank you thank you everyone. Ill miss Until Midnight.
