Hey everyone! I’ve just accepted my offer to U of T (I was stuck between Mac and U of T for life sciences), and I wanted to introduce myself, so, that I could hopefully make some new friends. I just worry about not making any in my first year because I won’t be living on residence, and most of the people I’m close with are going to universities outside of Toronto. Nevertheless, I’m super excited for the year to come. (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ Name / Nickname: Tomasz / Tomek / Tomtom About Yourself: I’m just a quiet, polish, hipster-like dude who loves (asian) culture, videogames, art, science, sweets, and music. I can speak polish, french, and hopefully japanese one day. I’m very honest, friendly, loyal, open-minded, and zealous. I like to speak as much as I write. Hometown: I was born in Cambridge, Ontario – but I’ve been living in Toronto for the past 11 yrs. High School: Richview Collegiate Institute Age: 17 Faculty: Arts & Science (Life Sciences) Intended major: Pharmacy / Medicine / ??? Favorite Music: I listen to a mix of completely un-related genres; indie rock&pop, EDM, kpop, jrock/pop. soo, my favourite artists and bands are sakanaction, gorillaz, grimes, MGMT, vocaloids, f(x), hyorin, big bang, glen check, neon bunny, kara, arcade fire, 2NE1, coldplay, charli xcx, kyary pamyupamyu, foster the people, lana del rey, the list goes on... Favourite TV Shows: the food channel, discovery, anything on bbc, yeah I honestly don’t watch any TV nowadays... I do watch A LOT of anime, and variety shows (running man, hello counselor). plan on watching Game of Thrones some day. Favourite Movies: every Harry Potter movie, VICE documentaries Favourite Games: oh, there are toooo many console RPGs, fighters, and MMORPGs to count. I LOVE FFXI, FFXIV, FF Tactics, PSO2, PSU, Maplestory (so shameful), Disgaea series, pretty much every other FF game, Corpse Party, Pokemon, Tekken, SC, GG, Blazblue, and so much more. can`t wait to play B&S, Tree of Savior and/or Black Desert ~ Favourite Blogs/Websites: siliconera, kotaku, allkpop, and gizmodo. Favourite Food: bbq, all breads and pastries, sushi, matcha/green tea, oatmeal, pizza, froyo Sports you play: I absolutely suck at sports. but, I played soccer and badminton as a kid. Do you party?: hahahaha nope. I’m pretty lame and sober. Do you drink (coffee)?: yes, I love a good americano or espresso. Do you smoke?: nope Is it okay if your roommate drinks?: sure, I have no major problem with it; except I’m not living on residence, so, I’ll have no roommate. Religion: agnostic Level of commitment: with regards to what? Into politics?: unfortunately, no. Ever had a roommate?: nope. I wish I could have one though! Night owl or early bird?: night owl, but, I wish it was the other way ;; Time you go to bed on weeknights/weekends: 11:30 PM ~ 1:10 AM Time you wake up on weekdays/weekends: 6:30 AM ~ 10:00 AM Do you snore?: nope Are your grades important: YES, they are important. How often do you talk on the phone?: not too much, people prefer texts over phone calls nowadays. Any unusual habits?: I talk a lot, I drink a lot of water after meals, I like to exercise real late at night, I can cook and bake more than the average guy. Clean or messy?: clean Shy or outgoing?: I’m actually pretty shy, but, my goal is to be more outgoing so I can make more friends, and to generally have a much better experience in university than highschool.
