Hey everyone.....Lady Murphy very odd last night...couldnt get comfortable...crying..thought she might just want to play in the snow but the even at bedtime just couldnt get comfortable....this morning she got up, seemed better but then began screaming...it was a terrible sound!!! She laid down by the door just shaking :( Took her to the ER ...she screamed there too...Dr. did a full body check, she didnt pull back or yelp, no fever, panting hard but heartbeat normal..did xrays of stomach and spine....nothing jumping out..some stiffness in back but no spasm when pressed, but lower intestine...looks a bit suspicious...but then she had a really healthy BM while we were there..Doc said it was encouraging but still wants us to monitor her...gave her pain meds. We were able to bring her home...but have to keep her quiet ...and watch out for any symptoms of distress...she did pretty well up to about 6:30 tonight but then started whimpering again and cant seem to settle down. She ate normally, had another BM but was pretty buzzed. Called the Vet and she said it could be breakthrough pain since Mick gave her only one pain pill at her next dose(1:00)...gave her another single dose(7:00)...Called Vet, said wait til 10:00 then start back with full dose, so the relief lasts through to the next dose (Mick feels bad..he just thought 2pills were a lot) ..she is whimpering again!!!!!! Just dont know whats wrong....have a CD from the ER of everything they did and will call her Vet first A.M. I wish she could tell me where her pain is!! :( No fever...Not limping.... Please Pray for her ...shes just 2 1/2 years old...she should be Happy :( Now she just wants to walk around the house, wont sit or lie down...Will wait 20 min after meds. at 10 to see if she settles but then I am calling the ER Vet back!!...she just keeps crying!!!!
