Hey everyone! My YLF is will be having puppies mid Oct. She has started to show pregnancy signs. I am not sure how many at this point, what I want to do is get anyone who maybe interested in them so I can write down your name and get back to you as soon as she whelps. This is her 2nd litter. The stud is a very successful stud. I know that some people are going to poke and prod me, calling me a backyard breeder and what not. This is where I stand on that, My dogs are very high quality hunting dogs, my female should be papered but not (very long story) The stud is papered and has multiple Champions in his bloodlines. I am not breeding trial dogs or anything like that, I will have very intelligent, birdy labs. These will be great companion dogs. I am not here to get into the trail vs hunting debate or anything. Bella, she is a 3 1/2 year old purebred yellow lab. She is very smart and will learn anything extremely quick. I am not the best trainer and she makes my life easy. She has retrieved may ducks and geese in her 2 years hunting. Her first year was down in Utah where she was used by a guide service. She picked up 120 ducks, 60 geese and 2 swans. Her second year she picked up 98 ducks. She rarely loses a bird. She handles great! Holds steady to the shot, heels, stops and sits on a whistle and knows hand signals. She hits the water harder than any lab I have ever owned. She is very athletic weighing between 74-78 lbs. Bucky is the stud. He is a bird hunter at heart. He is used to run down wild pheasants and grouse in the fall and then hits the waterfowl full force in the winter. He handles very well for his owner as well. He is AKC papered. He has studded multiple litters and the pups have had successful lives. This dog will dive under the water and retrieve anything. He is about the same size as Bella weighing 78-80lbs and very athletic with alot of endurance. Females $450 Males $400 I may be able to negotiate on price, or do trades. As of right now, let me know if your interested in a puppy, We may have the chance at Black, Yellow, and Chocolate. As soon as they whelp I will take deposits on a first come first served basis.
