Hey everyone. My pbp Santo has recently began feasting on dog poop. I know. Disgusting. No more snout kissing. I run a geriatric dog rescue so even though I scoop poop 4 times a day, Santo seems to find the tiniest nugget that I have left behind. Im wondering if perhaps Im not feeding him enough regular food? Hes 10 pounds so I give him 1/4 cup of pig food in the morning, raisins a few times a day during training (or when I bribe him to do something), and kale and mixed greens with hay in the evening (this is actually food for the tortoises but he steals it). He looks like he has gained weight in his belly in the 2 weeks I have had him but Im so afraid of overfeeding him! Any suggestions for improved feeding and poop eating avoidance techniques?
