Hey everyone! Please read.... I think I may have been type cast as a DJ/Radio Announcer for some as if thats all I can or am supposed to be able to do. Being a DJ and on digital radio has opened up many opportunities for me as an artist that I may not otherwise have had. So, I am still that and then some in the on-air arena and I dont plan to stop any time soon. However, me being a singer and an artist is not new. I have been singing since I was a child. My mom has been a church choir director, vocal coach, and musician (piano & organ) since before I was born. I was reciting poetry at the age of 3 years old. I come from a musical family. I didnt one day decide... Oh.... let me try singing and writing. I have been singing, writing, recording, and performing for years. Over the years Ive been on commercials, sang for the Governors Convention, performed at major concerts, traveled to work/perform, etc... Many on my page knew me as an on-air personality first. K. Huggs the artist may be new to you. But, its not new at all! My goal in doing my album was for me to get back fully into doing what I love and to create and provide quality, meaningful music and lyrics in the airwaves. From the feedback that I am getting, I am succeeding. However, I would like for more of you to take a chance and listen to and buy my album. Not as a favor to me. But, because its worth listening to. Some have been congratulating me and pressing Like on my statuses and still havent pressed play on one song. I understand how it may be scary to listen to someone you are not used to singing. Ive been there. lol This isnt a guilt trip. Its a request to everyone on my page to go to my website and take a listen to the free previews of my album, She Rains, get the album, join my pages, etc...
