Hey everyone! Remember us? Its the Vanderpup litter checking in to encourage everyone to join Dogs Without Borders and Strut their Mutt to raise money and awareness for homeless animals and help DWB save more dogs like us from euthanasia in 2014 and beyond. We were a litter of 6 pups - 5 girls, 1 boy - who were dumped in a cardbord box on the street across from the shelter...our owner didnt even have the decency to bring us TO the shelter! We were covered in ringworm and, at just a few weeks old, the shelter was planning to immediately euthanize us all. Well, our rescuer Betsy happened to be at the shelter just that day, heard about us, saw our cute little nugget faces and said...NO WAY! She took all 6 of us in and we became part of Dogs Without Borders. Not only did Betsy rescue us, she then nursed all 6 of us back to health. She had to put on a painters/haz mat type of suit every day to apply topical creams to heal our ringworm as it was highly contagious (though completely treatable). Within a few weeks we were well and ready to be adopted. It took a little time, a lot of love (we love you Betsy!), a bit of faith...and support from great friends like you but we ALL have found loving forever homes. From being dumped like garbage on the street...to living the loved life in LA...it doesnt get much better. This is a picture of Katie with her family...dont they look amazing?
