Hey everyone.... So I found out on Sunday that I placed 2nd in the district competition at work. Today was my first day back since we found out. Today I got a page to come to the personnel office. I always hate those calls for some reason I always feel like I did something wrong. Well my store manager sat down next to me and started out by saying I know you have already heard that you came in second in the competition. She said I want you to know that In all of the years of this competition no one from this store has ever placed that high before. So to show you how proud we are her is a little something for you. She handed me a Pin to put on my lanyard, a framed certificate, that both say that I am a game changer, there was a recognition card written about how I show pride in my work and that I deliver a WOW experience for the customers and the store. Then she handed me a gift card with $25 on it. They took my picture and it is now on the companies website, as well as a copy of my certificate and recognition card will be hung in the hallway for all other associates to see. LOL I feel special with second place, what would I feel like if I had actually won!!!!
