Hey everyone :) Thank you so much for the support you showed Caitlin and I while we dealt with a long wait at the Royal Childrens. I can happily say that things are looking better today than they did yesterday. We spoke to a lovely guy last night from the mental health department of RC and for the first time, we really felt like someone was listening to us. Caitlin was able to open up about everything that has been troubling her for the first time and we were able to input our side as parents too. Thats been lacking at pretty much all of the other counselling sessions Caitlin has had. A plan is now in place to give Caitlin ongoing help and Im quietly confident right now that if it continues like last night, we will finally see some real solutions happening. Caitlin left the hospital feeling a lot better than she had been when we arrived so heres to hoping that this is the start of her being on the road back from the darkness.
