Hey everyone! Thanks so much to everyone who has liked this page so far, I seriously appreciate your support!! One thing Id like to quickly draw attention to: as Im in 2nd year studying French & Italian, Ill be going on my Year Abroad from Summer 2014. This means Ill only be able to hold the post of Female Welfare Rep for 2 terms -- hilary and trinity. A by-election will automatically be held to fill my position in Michaelmas 2015, but I think its really important to have some sort of female welfare presence during freshers week. So Im factoring a 3 week break into my year abroad, and will come back to Oxford for freshers week, plus the first two weeks of term, by which time a new female welfare rep should have been elected. Hopefully the changeover will run more smoothly this way :) Ive run this proposal past Isobel Priest (returns officer) and Andrew Riddles (secretary) and they both think its sound. Just want to make sure you guys are on board too!
