Hey everyone, The end our season is drawing near, so I just wanted to get the ball rolling on this now. For those of you not aware, Im likely graduating from Carleton after this year, and regardless of whether or not I do graduate, I will be stepping down as President after this year. I may return as a player, but after two years as President, I would like the opportunity to compete as a player without the added weight of having to organize everything. For the sake of continuity, I will continue to serve as one of the signing authorities until April, and I will put together the financial ledger at the end of the year and submit it to the clubs office at years end. THAT BEING SAID, I would be more than willing to step down from the programming side of the job, and hand the Presidency off to someone else effective this month. Traditionally the transition has been pretty informal as our club had been very small, but due to the massive expansion the club experienced this year, a more formalized election is in order. There are four executive positions with the club: -President (Myself) -Vice President Finance (Hakim Amar) -Vice President Rugby Operations (Conor Mullen) -Vice President Club Affairs (Philip Pip Janelle) As far as I know, only the Presidency is opening, although Hakim may also be graduating. The roles that are still filled will not be opened for election unless I get complaints that the current execs are not adequately performing their tasks. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE NOVEMBER 16TH. At that time, the decision will be made on election format. If you are currently an executive and you wish to run for President, you must vacate your current office to do so. Its been a blast, folks. Lets end it off on a high note with a win at Queens. Riley
