Hey everyone! The future of Main Street is on the line. We are fighting to open here. This is the meeting you want to be at! This will be the City Council, we get a chance to start a change in the downtown area that welcomes everyone equally. Most of the businesses close around 4pm and most others do not draw foot traffic that stays on the street. I personally do not want a sleepy downtown. I live down the street from this place and would love to see it grow and the businesses on it grow too. City Council has a chance to set the tone for this Re-imagine campaign. Planning commission has already recommended approval, but this does not seal the Yes. The last thing I want to do is give a voice to fear, but that is the only thing being brought up by those who oppose this. Many of which have threatened the businesses on the street that do support us. Lets get together and show the bullies that what comes next is way better then if we dont open at all.
