Hey everyone We have a bit of bad news for anyone that was interested in doing the ride up from Maymorn Station to the start of the trail. We have just discovered that the Wairarapa Festival is on the same day so all of the trains are going to be very full. Due to this we have decided to cancel the leg of the ride that goes from Maymorn Station to the start of the trail and then from the end of the trail through to Featherston to catch the return train. We believe that the trains will be too full to be able to fit people on with their bikes even with the extra carriage. And we definitely do not want anyone being stranded in Featherston. There are still spaces left for the return shuttle from Cross Creek to the start of the Rail Trail so maybe you can bum a ride with a friend up to the start.
