Hey everyone! Who feels like donating food for a great cause?! I have had the incredible experience of working at Mendive Middle School over the past few weeks in the Strategies class (which is for students with autism), and I have found out that one of my amazing students has just lost his grandfather. To make matters worse, his family was living with the grandfather and when their grandpa passed, they lost their house. They are currently in between places to live while their mother continues to line up a more permanent set up. So, after talking with Bishop, and the FHE people in 2nd ward (who are in charge of tri-ward FHE this week), we are going to have a table set up at FHE where you can donate non-perishable food items that will go to this student of mine and his family. Also, after talking with Michelle, weve decided well have a table to donate food items at the Murder Mystery Dinner as well :-). This student is a REALLY sweet kid, and they are an incredibly sweet family going through an immensely difficult time. We have an opportunity to bless their lives at this time of need, and I would really appreciate your help in doing this for them. Cheers, Rost
