Hey everyone, as a recent WLU grad I just wanted to give you a few quick tips about tuition since I see people asking about their invoice. School is expensive. Save money wherever possible. More $$$ = more beers = higher grades...FACT So here are some things to consider with your invoice: - opt out of the drug/dental program if you are already covered under your parents. Many plans cover kids until they are out of school. Saves you 200$ a year. Sounds like a no brainer but people forget, theres a deadline. If your parents are paying your tuition (awesome, now dont f**k that up), unfortunately this becomes just a credit to your account and applied to next payment. You cant get a cheque to buy beers. I tried. Unless times have changed. Next. -opt out of PRISM (applies only to those in business...I think) this is an on campus resource that gives you access to computer rentals and stuff. Great resource (if your computer shits the bed on ya mid semester) but most dont use it. You can just pay for a membership later if you need it. Otherwise opt out. Saves 65$/semester I went through the BBA program, Co-Op and specialized in accounting. Currently working at PwC. If you have any questions about anything just PM me. I remember being in your shoes. Embrace it though. Time flies. Cheers!
