Hey everyone how is it going? I am up with Jazzy, she seems to not be able to sleep really well at night, which is kinda back how it used to be with the first cyst. The cold weather is really making her miserable. I cant really seem to sleep too well either as of lately, so her and I are in the same boat and so its working for us lol and we are getting in some girl time. Today was a busy day. I took Trey to see his doctor and to get the surgery set up and its locked in for Wednesday. I know he is very nervous about it and honestly I am nervous for him because the pin and the way the doctor explained it, there will be pain following it. I am not looking forward to that. For me, being a parent and seeing my kids hurt is one of the worst things ever lol. so I am not looking forward to it. And you would think no matter how many times I have done the my kid is having surgery thing I would be a pro by now but I am not and I dont think that will ever be the case lol. But I know he will be just fine. But at least we have the date, and are going to get it done finally and over with. Yay! Progress is progress lol. Jazzy has been working hard on her schooling, we luckily have home-bound until February 2nd, so I am praying that we will have gotten social securitys decision and even more so that we have gotten her insurance back so that she can see Dr. B and we can get this final step of putting the shunt in and getting on the road to getting past that. I realized the other night that now if we dont get her insurance back in place, that she wont be able to get her wisdom teeth done, which is something we had needed to do but had to hold off on because of the stint being more of a priority. That is okay, the dentists office had called me and told me we had rescheduled one too many times and they could no longer see her. We had tried to tell them we did not want to reschedule the first time bc each time we had to change the date, she was in the hospital with her stint and the decompression. They acted like we just didnt want to show up lol. I had given them plenty of days before the surgery to cancel and the last time, the drs office called me while we were in the hospital and twice at that and i had canceled and they had called Tiffs phone at least four times and they had to the nerve to say we did not call to cancel it at all. I was like are you kidding me. I thought for sure it would have been cancelled as many times as we had talked with them. It never ceases to amaze me at our luck sometimes lol! I have so much stuff to get done. I still have to order Jazzys senior stuff and I am stressing on how we are going to be able to pay for it all and how we are going to get past all this we have ahead of us. Sometimes it hits you all at once and can be so overwhelming. I have done pretty good keeping calm about it this week. I just feel so anxious i think because i have so much to get done and it never seems like there is enough time in the day! Is anyone out there working on cleaning or reorganizing for the new year? I tend to try to do our house every year, I have several big ideas I want to do and I cant wait until we can get a shed because we just have no room to put anything it seems! Jazzy is hoping we can find a dresser and a bookshelf for her room eventually.We are working on deluttering things and trying to move things around in her room. I have found a really neat room planner to help get a room reorganized and so I am pretty excited to use it. I am always finding stuff on Pintrest for organization. One of these days I may actually get totally organized! haha. Anyone have any big projects/plans they are working on for the start of the new year? Well, Jazzy is asking me to come help her with homework so I guess that is all I have for you guys tonight lol. Not much of an update. I didnt get nearly enough accomplished today so I am hoping Tuesday is much more productive!! Hoping you all have a very blessed and wonderful week! Sonja
