Hey everyone its Meg. I feel this needs to be said... about a question from yesterdays KAT Fight... This was not a discussion on the air about dogs. It was a contest question where we would have accepted ANY dog or dog breed as an answer because ANY dog has the potential to bite if provoked. ANY BREED. Again it was NOT a discussion about Pits, it was a question during a game we call KAT Fight. We ask a question to a man and woman, the first person to say their name gets the opportunity to answer and get a point, first person to three points wins... The question given to the contestants was: What dog will bite if provoked? Kevin Chimed in first and his answer was Pitbull... This is where I need to clarify something.. Paul was looking for ANY dog breed, the contestant just happened to give that as an answer, and after he gave that answer, Paul actually DID say that ANY dog can bite... I then commented that yes, even my two small dogs would bite if provoked. Paul would have taken ANY dog answer to this question because ANY dog has the potential to bite if provoked. I have tried to clear the air for those who were sending us mean messages that werent listening to the radio this morning, but felt they knew exactly what happened. Even Megan Masters told me she didnt hear the entire commentary after he gave his answer. I have even been making phone calls to as far away as Maryland and out west too to clear this up. We are very sorry for the miscommunication, and feel awful about it, but those who know us and listen know that we truly love animals, and would NEVER do anything deliberate to harm them. As avid dog lovers and having both rescue and Pits in my personal family, we want to apologize for any confusion. This was NOT a question or discussion about Pitbulls at all, and we are very sorry if it seemed that way. For those who listen you know just how much we love our pets! Thank you so much.
