Hey everyone, today was nomination day at the Club S.S. Sacramento. We will have a few changes in our leadership, but the men chosen to lead us in the future are well qualified and have the heart and drive to bring our club to the next level. For those who dont know, the club sponsors and is responsible for our great feast. Dave Lucio will be our next President of the club, with Paul Laconte servicing as 1st vice President! These two men have a tremendous work ethic and will be perfect in their new roles. Congratulations! Our club is not run by just one individual, but by a fantastic group of men who ensure that the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament continues and our traditions get passed on to future generations. I know Dave Lucio and Paul E. Leconte truly have what it takes to lead our club and the feast into the future. I am also very proud to announce that Nelson De Gouveia is this years feast President along with vice president Don Neves! Two great men who are very deserving of their new roles. They have a long year ahead of them, but with the support of our new leadership, board of directors, members, and countless volunteers, I am sure they will continue to bring the Madeiran tradition and the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament to all of you to enjoy for the 101st time! Viva!!
