Hey folks! Any of you who are pretty interested in boxing, this is an awesome place to get some gear: mikadomartialarts/ ... Wraps cost $10, I would suggest everyone has a pair. Not as necessary: gloves start at $45, and can get more expensive depending on brand. Id suggest 16oz if you want to spar eventually - if not, just make sure you get at least 10oz or bigger - Your hands can get damaged by using MMA gloves for boxing. If you never want to spar (or, just dont wanna think about it yet! It is early, after all ;) ), dont worry about getting a mouthguard. If you do, you can get affordable ones at Mikados too. The staff are really helpful and friendly - tell them you are trying out boxing and they will hook you up with the right stuff. Happy punching, see some of you tomorrow!
