Hey, folks: Ive filled my mind with all things artificial intelligence over the last many months (that and pre-computer Land Cruisers). Its the most fascinating technology ever Ive ever seen. Mother Nature didnt build brains like anything us humans have ever dreamed up, not even close. Mind boggling and awe inspiring. One thing that has been bothering me is well expressed in this video. If youre in the working class (i.e. your personal wealth is less than $10 million) big trouble is coming, fast. There is a reason Google and the like are each funding a Manhattan project of AI. Super-human intelligence will be humanitys pay-back to Earth. Intelligence (not necessarily consciousness, whatever that is) on a planetary scale will be interesting, but then we are living through the most interesting period of human history.
