Hey followers! Sorry bout the month-long absence! Been a busy month for me outside of the realm of weather! Happy to say after this coming weekend, I should get back to something more normal around here! A few of you heard that I was diagnosed with Shingles earlier in the month. I am also happy to say that the worst of that has seemingly passed, so I am fortunately much better now! Ive had a couple people ask about this weeks chasing prospects, and sadly, given the relocation I am in the midst of (upgrading living quarters closer to work), I have ruled myself out for eastern KS tomorrow. Had this not been my big lab day on campus, I might have juggled things around a bit, but circumstances equated to me holding off on taking the Wednesday off and maybe save it for something later in the season that may hold as much if not more promise. As for Thursday, I am tied into my new place waiting for deliveries and service hookups, so unless they are all in and done by early afternoon, Ill be restricted to later stuff in the evening as I believe tomorrows bigger play will be west of here. There are a few things ongoing behind-the-scenes that will find appropriate times for announcement over the coming months. Some related to my LLCing of Tornadoes Kick Media, as well as plans for the 2015 season as those details sort themselves out. There are also plans to expand my social media outreach and try to better utilize those outlets. I am fiddling with a new website/blog as well as plotting a YouTube overhaul. Lots to come in the next 6-12 months. Meanwhile, just waiting on the seasons to change for real here in southern Illinois. Colors are trying to poke through, but temperatures in the mid 80s keep a more summer-like feel around. Thursdays front promises cooler temperatures for the weekend which will definitely help with the Fall feel around here. Right now, that is what I am looking most. Well see if the pattern remains active after this week and perhaps offers me a more timely opportunity to get out and chase. I feel the SDS kicking in after over a month since my last venture. So thats an update for me! Ill keep you posted as things settle a bit after my move this weekend, but will be armchair chasing at best tomorrow and hopefully just get a teaser around these parts later int he evening on Thursday to play with close to home!
