Hey friends - this isnt the most entertaining video you could watch about climate change but it is very solid in its explanation (I say explanation, not opinion) of how humans are directly responsible for the warming of the planet. I see a lot of people shake this off their conscience by stating that the Earth has and will always go through natural cycles. Yes, this is certainly true, but big brains and even bigger needs have accomplished in mere centuries what nature would need milleniums for. Through our agricultural practices, deforestation, and obsession and dependence on fossil fuels we have altered the environment of this planet. For those who are comforted by the natural cycle idea: during Earths ice ages CO2 levels in the atmosphere were around 180 ppm and during our warmest periods did not exceed 300 ppm.
