Hey friends! As you know, I care a lot about Austin and its music scene. I think its a unique place where art and commerce can coexist. I count myself lucky to have become part of this wonderful community. Unfortunately I see some dark clouds in the horizon that seem to shape up: corporate control of future music events, parking citations for musicians loading their gear, noise ordinance citations for bands (!), closing of clubs, etc.... I believe music in Austin needs a stronger lobby of musicians, fans, bar owners and patrons. Thats why I would like to invite all music-loving Austin residents to review the new music scene voting guide for the upcoming elections that just came out. More importantly, go and vote, and share the link with other music fans as well.
