Hey friends. Hes had a couple of up and down days. He noticed some pain in his calf on Mon night, which progressed into a lot of pain by Tues. morning, accompanied by redness and swelling. They did an ultrasound which ruled out a blood clot to our relief. Theyve decided that its just part of the healing process, although still uncomfortable, and are encouraging him to keep walking as that will speed the process. Were still hoping to have him released tomorrow but it may be Friday instead. Keep your fingers crossed!
