Hey friends!! Sorry I havent posted before now!! Things have been busy busy getting ready to bring Mason HOME!!!! We were up there today training to do his home feeding pump and oxygen. We were supposed to room in tonight BUT... Mason has been projectile vomiting all day and so they ordered an abdominal x-ray and his stomach was very enlarged. Theyre hoping he just has a lot of air on his stomach that needs to come off but theyre drawing bloodwork to make sure he doesnt have any type of infection. If everything comes back normal and his stomach is still enlarged in the morning, then tomorrow morning theyll inject dye into his G-tube to see if its blocking something off preventing food from moving through normally. Were hoping this is just a mechanical error that can be easily fixed, and if so, we can still be on track for bringing him home on Monday. But as always, we want him completely healthy before he comes home, so please pray they can figure out what the issue is and it can be easily fixed.
