Hey friends of Ragged Wing! We have some exciting and fun volunteer opportunities coming up and we would love your help. First up is a build day this Saturday 10/13, from 11am-7pm, in downtown Oakland. Help build and sew Buried in the Body in a cheerful, light-filled space. Awesome for people who like making things. We also have openings for volunteers on our performance days to help create the fabulous immersive experience for our guests. Along with the performance, there will be art installations and a ritualistic atmosphere, loosely based on the theme: Just Ripe. Do you like helping people explore? You would be great for this! We are at 3 very different locations for each of the 3 weekends this year, and each one promises to be a new delight for the senses. Mountain View Cemetery 5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland Sat, Oct 19, 4 pm Sun, Oct 20, 12 & 4 pm City of Oakland Uptown Art Park Telegraph Ave & 19th St, Oakland Thurs-Sat, Oct 24-26, 8pm Live Oak Park 1301 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley Thurs- Sat, Oct 31- Nov 2, 8 pm Performance-day volunteer shifts begin an hour before curtain and end an hour after; the training will be very simple and we will be so grateful for your help.
