Hey guess what? Simone and I just celebrated our 49th wedding Anniversary this past August 21st and next year in 2015 on the same date, we will celebrate our 50th Anniversary. It is a bit of a shock. I remember when my grandfather celebrated his Golden Wedding anniversary and how old he was. That puts things in perspective. I dont really know how old I look and when I look at Simone, she still looks fresh and beautiful as she always has and certainly does not look like my grand-mother did at their celebration. Simone has already started making plans and looking at some ideas we would like to mark that celebration with. One thing, so far, is that we have decided to renew our wedding vows with our Pastor Trent Sulz on that day and celebrate with our family, friends and church family. 50 years-it doesnt seem so long ago.
