Hey guys! Antonin Scalia, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, will be here in Cox Auditorium tomorrow at noon to give the annual Rose Lecture. Scalia is definitely in the top five most influential jurists of the twentieth century (in my humble opinion, only William J.Brennan, Learned Hand, and Louis Brandeis have him beat). If you have ANY interest at all, I strongly recommend you attend. This is almost certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity, as Scalia will turn 80 in 2016, and he oversees the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, not the Sixth to which Tennessee is a member. Thus, this is well outside of his normal rounds in that function, and I doubt hell make this trip again in his lifetime.
